At my day job, I am art director at The University of Utah Marketing & Communications Department. It was quite a process to update the The University of Utah’s main web site. After several iterations, focus group testing, and approvals from the administration, the site went live just before the Fall semester began in 2011.

This complete overhaul of the Garden’s site included adding a blog and a shopping cart system. The client wanted a dynamic home page with easily updated banner, twitter feed, and recent blog posts.

U of U Campus Recreation Services decided to update their website with s spiffy new design to match the print campaign materials we did for them earlier in the year. The client elected to build the site in WordPress so that it could be maintained by an intern who may not have web programming skills.

Utah boasts the “greatest snow on earth” and the University of Utah wants potential students to know that Utah also offers a great place to learn. This campaign targeted visitors to Utah during the ski season with bus boards, airport signage, and on-mountain advertising.

The marching band at the University of Utah had an opportunity to play at the U of U vs Notre Dame game in 2010. The catch was that they need to raise $30 grand fast. We were able to help them raise the money with this web page and fun motion graphic video.
